Blogging Award Sticker

Here is a virtual award sticker that I give to younger students who are getting into blogs. They seem to like it so feel free to use it if you think it might be useful. I’ve also got other versions that I will post here. Why not give yourself one if you missed out on an edublogging award this year.

Great to browse through the list of nominees for the 2005 Edublog Awards. Josie Fraser has done a great job this year in pulling it together. The awards give a useful snapshot of the seemingly dynamic and healthy state of weblogging in education at the end of 2005. Congratulations to all the nominees

It would be great to also set up a student/pupil version of the awards that could serve to collect and celebrate weblogging creativity by students themselves. The categories could span the curriculum as well as highlighting explorations beyond it. I personally would love to see examples of best student practice all in one handy place. It could also give us an insight into the dark teenage world of MySpace and Xanga
